Cosmos - The Sign of Fire
Inspired by the stunning volcanic eruption that happened in Sicily in the 2002, The Sign of Fire is a performance/installation where the artist creates symbolic images with Etna Volcano Ash poured on the floor in front of the audience.
The volcanic ash – symbol and echo of Chaotic and Ancient world – becomes the informal matrix that the artist – personified on the Cosmos as the ordering principle source of the Universe – organizes and transforms through its gesture into an organic and coherent image.
